This mentorship is for writers ready to shape raw truth into story, to take a private idea and give it form, structure, and cinematic life.
 
Led by the Director of Programming at NCTV, this experience offers emerging storytellers a unique blend of creative support and real-world opportunities. Participants will receive guided feedback, story development tools, and a path to prepare their work for potential production and festival consideration.

Select scripts may be brought to life as short films and showcased on notable platforms, such as the Nantucket Shorts Festival, which puts our very own community front and center.

As a signature event of Nantucket Community Television, NSF embodies the mission of our island’s only multimedia arts center: to empower Nantucket voices of all ages. Through this mentorship, we extend that mission to writers with stories that demand to be told.
